Let Me Tell You Why You're Here

"Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know, you can't explain. But you feel it. You've felt it your entire life. That there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is but it's there, like a splinter in your mind driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?"

The Matrix (1999)

Pay attention to that voice inside your head that keeps telling you it's time for something different. It is. These are not ordinary times we are living in. The world is not a simple place right now. And the very thing that's needed to transform it may be trying to give birth from inside you. At least give it - us - yourself - a chance.

You've woken up enough from your pain to be here. Don't stop now. Don't let the middle of the worst of your pain be the place you stop. It doesn't get worse. The worst is the waking up. This is the part now where you get to decide what happens next. You can decide not to choose, but the regret and shame that will follow are brutal. You have such a brilliant shining chance. Take it - please.

Become everything you ever dreamed. Live a life that affirms your absolute worth and dignity, operate with the kind of integrity that you've admired from afar. Become the person you've always wanted to be. It's not too late.

But it requires you step fully into the middle of yourself, with total honesty, total truth, total opennes. You have to see whatever's there, and love it. If you don't love it, you will never be able to change it. When you hate what you see, when you cringe in fear or disgust or doubt, you destroy your chance for change.

So start with love. Don't create complicated conditions for yourself. Simply start where you are, as you are, who you are, and everything else will flow from that.
